DISA 3030 molding line process layout -

· Our TS 16949 certified process features a material handling process that is completely automated from our molding machines all the way through to our final inspection process.

 

· Our flexible and quick-change DISA line and our flexible finishing system allows us to run parts of any volume or complexity through the entire process. You won’t find un-processed parts stored in a corner of the plant with this process.

 

· Our system is focused on lean and just in time manufacturing which provides you with the lowest cost and best quality castings. Our high production capabilities allow us to meet the heaviest of demands in production orders with no problem. No waiting on parts for you the customer.

(13) Shalco high production isocure core machines

(2) DISA 3030 molding lines with palletized cooling conveyors; (2) 35,000 lb. gas fired reverb furnaces at each molding line

Finishing department featuring (6) flexible ABB robotic cleaning cells and (3) 50 ton hydraulic trim presses

Final inspection dept where all castings are cleaned and inspected in less than 1 hour after being poured
